Excess Crude Account Stands At $3.5bn - NEC

<div dir="ltr"><p><a href="http://informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/okonjo-iweala-400x300.jpg"><img alt="okonjo-iweala-400x300" class="" height="225" src="http://informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/okonjo-iweala-400x300-300x225.jpg" width="300"></a></p> <p>National Economic Council (NEC), Thursday disclosed that Excess Crude Account (ECA), stood at $3.5bn after payments for fuel subsidy and SURE-P.</p> <p>Akwa Ibom State Governor, Godswill Akpabio disclosed this when he briefed State House correspondents after the National Economic Council meeting.</p> <p>According to him, the Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala had briefed the council on ECA.</p> <p>The governor noted that the council resolved that details of spending on excess crude be given to states on time, just as it urged that expeditious action be taken to sort out all the legalities surrounding the ECA.</p> <p>On conflicts between farmers and herdsmen, he said council received a presentation by the National Security Adviser on Incessant conflicts between farmers and pastorialists, highlighting on the challenges and solutions in Nigeria.</p> <p>“According to the NSA’s Presentation, Seventeen (17) States have been identified as flash points, among which are:- Plateau, Benue, Adamawa, Niger, Bauchi, Nasarawa, Kwara Kaduna, Oyo. Man Escapes Death In Abuja Gas Explosion

<div dir="ltr"><p><a href="http://informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/20140327_183640.jpg"><img alt="" class="" height="480" src="http://informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/20140327_183640.jpg" title="20140327_183640.jpg" width="640"></a></p> <div style="float:right;margin:5px 0px 5px 5px"> </div> <p>A young man who sells cooking gas at Shagari Plaza, Area 1, Abuja narrowly escaped death today when fire of unknown source started as he was vending gas to a customer.</p> <p>According to his neighbours, the young man on noticing the fire tried to drag the gas cylinder far from his shop, but it exploded in the process, causing him burns up to the neck.</p> <p>The customer was said to have managed to push her car far from the scene of the incident before the explosion.</p> <p>An eyewitness told Information Nigeria that the woman’s engine didn’t start.</p> <p>“She was rushing to drive away from the impending explosion, but her car didn’t start. We had to push it a little far from here,” he said, adding, “No one can say for surewhere the fire came from, but you know it’s gas…highly flammable; anything could have happened.”</p> <p>Another vehicle parked close to the scene was however badly burnt.</p> <p><a href="http://informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/20140327_183550.jpg"><img alt="" class="" height="480" src="http://informationng.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/20140327_183550.jpg" title="20140327_183550.jpg" width="640"></a></p> <p>Gas cylinders caught fire one after the other and were exploding as people watched from afar. Debris of cylinders were flung and scattered around the area as they exploded.</p> <p>Efforts to reach the owner of the shop for comments proved abortive.</p> <p>The young man in charge of the shop, who was seriously injured had been taken to a hospital in Garki when Information Nigeria got to the scene.</p> <p>A mallam who sells recharge card close to the gas shop, escaped serious injuries, with a slight burn to the hand the only physical injury he got. These women happened to be prostitutes which a man that’s said to be married, met at a club. TB Joshua Reveals the Location of Missing Jet in New Prophecy

The airline said it did not receive any distress messages or emergency signals from the pilot before it “disappeared off the radar.”</p> <p>TB Joshua had earlier indicated that “the plane concerned is deep inside the sea”. He added that none of the 239 passengers will survive.</p> <p>Prophesying to his church members as well as viewers all over the world on March 15, 2014, TB Joshua said: “They should look between Indonesia and Indian Ocean because the particles of the plane has scattered and gone everywhere”</p> <p>The head pastor of the Synagogue Church Of All Nation (Scoan) disclosed that the pilot of the plane “lost signal, lost his bearings” causing the plane to be “diverted.”</p> <p>According to him, “there are some strange people inside the plane; strange people that are not supposed to be inside. The pilot lost signal, the plane diverted and lost his bearings. As blood spurted out of the wound he put his genitals into his mouth and started chewing,” said a vendor.</p> <p>Another witness said she would never forget what she saw.</p> <p>“I am still asking myself how a person can do that to himself. It was nightmarish to see the blood dripping between his fingers and lips as he chomped on his manhood. Wherever he is, he must be dead by now,” said Anna Ncube.</p> <p>A source close to Nyambawara’s family revealed that he was not dead.</p> <p>“He is recovering at Mpilo Hospital and he only cut off his testicles.</p> <p>“He was bewitched by a family member after he slept with the man’s wife,” said the source.</p> <p>The local press found Nyambawara at the hospital and he said he was in great pain.</p> <p>“I do not know what happened and I’m in pain.
